Our Mission
Our Mission is to help the DC to become successful and to give children of all ages and abilities a chance to play football and become part of a prime and successful club.
ABOUT US
* Play in the Women's Irish League. We are currently in the second division having been promoted in our last two seasons.
* We started in 2000 in the forth division. Manager Barry McGreevy decided to get the team up and running and it has been sucessful from day one.
* Barry has experience in Ladies football from his days at Newtonabbey Strikers, who play in the 1st Division.
* In our first year, we gained promotion to division three and were unlucky go lose our cup final 1-0 to an excellent Sparta Ladies side.

Donegal Celtic Football & Social Club
AND IF YOU KNOW YOUR HISTORY...
"The club was formed in 1970, by local men and women in the surrounding area. The name "Donegal", came about as the neighbouring streets to our club are named after such places, like Bunbeg, Gweedore, and Creeslough in Co.Donegal.
The Celtic part in our name is there because of the strong interest in Glasgow Celtic from people in the surrounding area.
